Compensation & Benefits

Our Compensation philosophy is to offer competitive pay and a top tier benefits package tied to high performance results and a demonstration and dedication to living the NCP values. We look at compensation as a whole and benefits are an integral part of the overall compensation package provided by National Cardiovascular Partners.

It’s our goal to take care of good teammates so that our patients will be continually supported with the best and brightest talent in the industry. Following are some of the programs we’ve developed to retain top talent:

Bonus Potential

We have designed a desirable bonus plan program to maximize each teammate’s earning potential.  Bonus incentives are contingent upon the combined achievements of all teammates working together to reach specific, targeted goals.

Enhanced PTO Benefits

Immediately, upon hire, regular full-time and regular part-time teammates earn PTO time at a designated rate. Full-time teammates can earn a maximum of 26 days each year and part-time teammates can earn a maximum of 13 days a year. In addition, so that you do not forfeit any time earned, at the end of each year, NCP will automatically pay out up to 80 hours of earned/unused PTO time, above the allowable carryover balance.

Safe Harbor 401(k) with Match

All teammates are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan. NCP’s plan offers a Safe Harbor pre-tax contribution that begins immediately upon your contribution to the plan. The amount will equal:  100% of the first 3% of your eligible compensation contributed to the Plan and 50% of the next 2% of your eligible compensation contributed to the Plan. The total company match will equal 100% on the first 4% you contribute. To ensure teammates take advantage of this benefit, if no election is made, teammates are automatically enrolled at a 3% pre-tax rate.

Health Insurance

We are committed to providing quality medical/dental/and vision coverage and we offer two medical plan options. Both plans offer in- and out-of-network benefits with flexibility in choosing your provider.  And there is more good news! The medical plans cover in-network preventative care at 100%.

Spending Accounts

NCP offers both a Health Care and Dependent care FSA benefit.  Teammates may set aside money on a pre-tax basis to pay for certain eligible expenses. 

Disability Benefits

We provide short and long-term disability insurance to our teammates. These benefits replace a portion of your income in the event a personal medical illness or injury keeps you from working. Long-term disability is a company-paid benefit at no cost to the teammate. Short-term disability is a voluntary teammate-paid, post-tax benefit.

Employee Illness Bank

The EIB benefit is designed to help offset the hardship of a personal illness. Regular full-time and regular part-time teammates (who work at least 24 hours per week) are eligible for the accrual of EIB time. A portion of EIB benefits can be used with the voluntary short-term disability benefit.

Basic Life Insurance

Full-time teammates receive company paid Basic Life coverage at two times their annual salary up to a maximum of $500,000. Optional life insurance benefits are also available and may be subject to evidence of insurability.

Tuition Reimbursement

Teammates are encouraged to pursue additional education and professional training to improve their work skills and knowledge. NCP offers reimbursement for tuition, books and fees up to $1,500/yr. for specialized certificate programs, up to $2,500/yr. for classes towards an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and up to $4,000/yr. for a Master’s degree.

NCP Scholarship Program

The NCP Scholarship fund is specifically designed to assist children of full-time NCP teammates in obtaining a degree from a four-year U.S. accredited institution. The one-time award amount is equal to $10,000.

Healthy Rewards Program

NCP provides discounts on health programs and services as part of our healthcare providers’ ongoing effort to promote wellness. From acupuncture to natural supplements and aerobic classes to massage therapy, we offer a host of services to keep our teammates feeling their best.

Life Assistance Program

The Life Assistance program is available to help teammates and their family members find a solution and restore peace of mind. From legal consultations to temporary-back up care, get extra support for handling life’s unpredictable demands.
